Scholarship Application
The Mary Jane Lewis Scholarship Foundation is structured on a similar basis to the Dafydd Lewis Trust, however scholarships are limited to young women. Equity and merit-based scholarships are awarded after consideration of a combination of an applicant's academic performance, a means and asset test applied to their parents, and an interview.
Eligibility Criteria for the Mary Jane Lewis Scholarship
Young women can apply for the Mary Jane Lewis Scholarship provided they will be commencing a degree at Melbourne University. There are no restrictions on the degree course that scholarship recipients can take.
All applicants will need to complete a means test. Combined parental income must not exceed $64,641 per annum (earnings in 2010).
A recipient of the scholarship must have attended a Victorian state school or college for at least five consecutive years. Exceptions may apply for holders of humanitarian visas. Please visit the FAQ page.
There are no age restrictions.

The Scholarship Application Form and supporting materials must be received no later than the second Friday of December (10 December 2010).
